How OCP Library handles your information.

OCP Library ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Account information: your name and email address when you create an account, and a password stored only as an irreversible hash.
Reading and learning data: books you open, reading progress, notes, highlights, quiz answers, XP, streaks, and learning paths you follow. This is tied to your account so your progress syncs across devices.
Payment information: we use Stripe to process payments. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe provides us with limited subscription status details (plan, status, billing dates) needed to manage your account.
Usage data: anonymous analytics about which features are used, to help us improve the product. We do not sell this data.
How we use your information
We use your information to provide the reading and learning experience, sync your progress, send optional reading reminders and achievement notifications, process and manage subscriptions, prevent abuse, and improve the platform.
How we share information
We share data only with the service providers that power the app (such as Stripe for payments and our hosting provider), and only as needed to operate the service. We never sell your personal information to third parties.
Your choices
You can update your profile, change notification settings, export or delete your notes, and cancel your subscription at any time from your account. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we work hard to safeguard your information.
Children's privacy
OCP Library is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
